St. Valentine’s Day
Цели: Познакомить учащихся с обычаями и традициямипразднования дня Святого Валентина.
Активизировать лексику темы на речевоми письменном уровнях.
Научить работать в группах.
Совершенствовать умения переводить пословицы, подписывать открытки кпразднику, разгадывать кроссворды.
Расширять кругозор и словарный запас.
Развивать навыки правильного и выразительного чтения стихотворений наанглийском языке.
Развивать логическое мышление, память, внимание, творческую фантазию.
Воспитыватьинтерес к празднику день Святого Валентина, чувство прекрасного иуважение к культуре и традициям других народов.
Оборудование: компьютер,символы, карточки Matсh the words, “Names’’, “Jumbled words”, листы с пословицами, валентинки, листы соцениванием, стенгазеты, кроссворды.

1) Приветствие.

T: Whatholiday do people all over the world celebrate on February 14-th?
P: OnFebruary 14-th people celebrate St. Valentine’s Day.
T: St.Valentine’s Day is a festival of love and sweethearts. It’s a day for people inlove. Boys send cards to their girlfriends and girls send cards to theirboyfriends. But they don’t write their names in the cards. It’s a secret.
