The teacher asks Sts. to open the book, listen and read quietly. Try to understand the text: Ex 2 p.50.

Sts. listen and point. and make some notes or draw. Answers: 1.Beshbarmak Who likes beshbarmak? 2. Shelpek Give Russian/ Kazakh translation 3.Koktal (fried fish) Do you like it/ Koktal? 4. Sorpa Do people drink sorpa? Sts. explain the ingredients of Kazakh dishes. Beshbarmak: eat with 5 fingers. It has got: meat, onion, noodles. Koktal: fish, onion, tomatoes.
Six children come to the front. A teacher gives each child one of the flashcards from Ex.1.
Each child is given a card with self – assessment. Sts. put a mark to themselves. Sts/ ask questions to each other showing a flashcard.
Sts. read the text with pencils, underline the words they do not know. Sts. do the test individually after reading the text.
