Greeting: learners respond to greeting of the teacher and take their places. Divide into 2 groups with method “Light”: “Star”, “Heart” Checking hometask with method “Chips”. Group Work. Checking new words with method “Tarsia” |

Main Activities 30 min |
Main part. Teacher show students some geometrical figures.
Teacher asks students to look around the classroom and tell what shapes they see (desks, windows, pots, books). Students may answer in English or in L1. Following this, students may practice the shape vocabulary describing objects in the classroom. (The door is rectangular; the flower pot is round etc.) Teacher may differentiate the activity by giving the less able students options to choose from when describing objects in the classroom. Ex: Tell me, is the door rectangular or round? Is the window circular or rectangular? As teacher asks these questions he may also air draw the shapes he names. Teacher explains grammar to be going to question form for students.
Method “Fri”. Teacher give students some papers with words, and students make sentences. |
