1. Introduction
Hello, my name is Diana. I’m the 9 – grader of Kuganaksecondary school.
The theme of our report is “ The Victory Day Parade in Ufa”. Theaims of our report are the following:
1. to remind young people of the cruel times during the secondworld war;
2. to show how the modern generation of people remember andhonors the feat of the soviet soldiers and peaceful citizens battling withfascists during the great Patriotic war.
To achieve these aims we set the following tasks:
1. to tell about the ceremony of celebrating the Victory Day in Bashkortostan;
2. to show the importance of different events dedicated to thevictory of our country over the fascist invaders.
I also would like to demonstrate through my report the greatstrength of spirit of the Soviet people, the Soviet Army and their boundlesslove to their Motherland.
The problem we designate is that the young generation of people isnot interested in learning the historical facts and events taken and takingplace in our country, the low level of knowledge of national history, Sovietand Russian history, the not realizing the consequences of what would havehappened if fascism would have won.
Why is this theme actual for me? The great Patriotic war let adeep mark on our family. My great – grandmother Bibinur Sadykova fought in thewar and came back home. She lived a long life and died in the age of 92 years.My great – grandfather Grigory Anisimov was seriously injured, lost his leg.But in spite of this fact he married, raised children with his wife togetherand died in 1973. I enojoyed listening the stories of my great – grandmotherabout the war and the heroism of soviet people. When I will have children, I’lltell them about my relatives who fought for our freedom and happiness. I thinkmy children must know to whom do they owe their birth.
2. TheMain Body. The Victory Day Parade in Ufa.
I was luckyto attend the Victory day parade in Ufa last year. The Victory Day parade tookplace on the 9th of May in the capital of Bashkortostan Ufa. Themilitary unit, the territorial garrison of Ufa, cadets of educationalinstitutions took place in the parade. The colonel Kerim Idrisov commanded theparade, the colonel Sergey Porokhnya hosted the parade.
The festiveoccasion was started in the Victory P ark. The leadership of the Republiclaid flowers and wreaths at the monument to the heroes of the Soviet Union MinnigaliGubaidullin and Alexandr Matrosov.
At 12.30 in Ufa, festive concerts, competitions, sports and massevents began. During the ceremonial passage of the troops, 16 pieces ofequipment and 16 retro cars were brought to the Central city square. There wasalso an armored personnel carrier and everyones favorite soldiers porridgefrom the field kitchen.
The head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, spoke at the parade. Hewas met by top officials of the region, including the Chairman of the stateAssembly — Kurultai RB Konstantin Tolkachev. Radiy Khabirov congratulated allthose present on a significant holiday for the country and the city – the 74thanniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war.
The first persons of the Republic paid tribute to the memory ofthe fallen in the great Patriotic war. The ceremonial passage was opened by aplatoon of drummers of the Bashkir cadet corps of the Volga Federal districtnamed after the Hero of Russia Alexander Dostavalov. Then followed the bannergroup and the honor guard platoon. The banner group includes the best cadets ofthe boarding School named after twice Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Gareev, whoare great-grandchildren of soldiers of the great Patriotic war. The passage ofthe banner group was accompanied by a platoon of honor guards.
Clearly minting the step, 21parade boxes were held along October Avenue – more than 1300 peoplein total. The parade calculations were accompanied by marching music performedby a combined brass band. Further along the Avenue passed military equipment ofthe great Patriotic war.
After the parade, the all-Russian civil-Patriotic actionImmortal regiment was held. Thousands of Ufa residentscame out shoulder to shoulder on October Avenue. In the hands of each photo ofa relative — a participant in the great Patriotic war. How many people, howmany destinies this war has changed…The peoples MarchImmortal regiment began at 11: 00. Volunteers of the organizationVictory Volunteers distributed free St. George ribbons to those whowished. Ufa residents came to Victory Park with signs depicting their relativeswho lost their lives and health on the fields of the great Patriotic war. The eventwas first held in Ufa on May 9, 2014. Then only about three thousand Ufaresidents joined the March. With each subsequent year, there were more peoplewilling to take part in the campaign. So, in 2018, the Immortalregiment united more than 80 thousand people.Ufa joined the Immortalregiment campaign for the sixth year in a row. In the ranks of theImmortal regiment passed 112 thousand people. Every year the numberof participants increases.
The culmination of the holiday was a festive fireworks display,which was launched at 22 oclock on Lenin square.
3. Conclusion
Of course, our country pays great attention to the celebration ofVictory Day. These are not only colorful demonstration events. They are ofgreat educational value for us, young citizens of Russia. They educate us inthe spirit of patriotism and love for the Motherland.
But inmy opinion, this is not enough to solve the problem highlighted in my project.The solution to this problem in my opinion, is a broader coverage of thesehistorical events and the exploits of ordinary people, soldiers for the sake oftheir people. This includes conducting peace lessons, military-themed lessons,and various events at school, as well as broadcasting military-Patrioticprograms on the Internet and on TV because the main source of information foryoung people today is the Internet. Secondly, it is the upbringing of a childin a family in the spirit of patriotism, the transmission of family storiesfrom generation to generation about relatives who fought in the war and died onthe battlefields. And then the memory of this unhuman and brutal war will beimmortal.
